My DD has just received the result of her final OU course. Exeter University said she needed 70% to get on her chosen course and she has achieved 81%.

She will start in October on the
LLB European (German) / Magister. It is a four-year course (with the fourth year in Germany) that will provide her with the academic qualifications to practise as a lawyer in either the UK or Germany.

Wow! Well done your DD! What a star! And well done you for ensuring her education was what she needed Smile

Isn't it nice to hear of the successes. Sometimes I think we home edders are up against it with all the negative one hears around?
So chuffed for her and you Shena.

So pleased for your DD, Shena! Fantastic to hear she not only got what she needed, but way above! I am sure she will do fantastically when she starts her new course. :)

Thanks, everyone - we almost have our feet back on the ground.

That's terrific, Shena! You must be thrilled!!

...Now you can start worrying about her flying the nest. Or is that not an issue for you? It's the one inevitable parenting moment which I am really not looking forward to, but I have a good few years left still.
