I'm setting up a children's science club!

I've been chatting with my friend who loves chatting about science-related things with her toddler, as do I. I had an idea which she's agreed to - we're going to get a load of other parents with young kids and meet every so often and do little fun experiments - that way we can split the cost. I'm quite excited!

so if anyone has any young-child-friendly ideas I'd be most grateful!

ask Katz for her science party information. she did a great one for her DD a couple of years ago, which I copied, as have a range of other MNers.

exploding coke, getting iron out of breakfast cereal, slime and red cabbage indicator solution were fab

also look up steve spangler online - he has lots of suggestions

ooh cool. I mentioned the idea to one of my 12yo stepdaughters and she wants to help out too

where do I find this Katz person then?

put a shout out for Katz on MN, or CAT her.

Do you know the Krampf email list? You can subscribe to receive a free weekly experiment by email, or look at the old ones on the archive. Some are very simple and others perhaps not right for toddlers.
