We use Getty and Dubay, which are nice handwriting books but italic writing. Don't know if that's any use. They are available via amazon and Ichthus resources.

I have been using Stanley Thornes Blue prints the handwriting book. This book gives lots of pre-writing/pencil control activities and then moves into cursive letter formation which helps later with joining. Its very good. My son enjoys using the sheets which I photocopy.

The ISBN is 0-7487-1989-X, you might be able to find it 2nd hand, I got mine on ebay.
