I have a mussel coloured kitchen from DIY Kitchens ( this colour is sold elsewhere)
I originally painted the kitchen in vert de terre from farrow and ball but I want a change. I’d really like to find a beige paint to go with this kitchen but I’m not having any luck. I definitely don’t want a grey/ beige . I went on ChatGPT and it suggested Shaded white by f and b but this was too grey. I’d also like to pair it with a wallpaper on one wall in the dining extension. Please can someone help, I’m just no good with colours!!!

You could try Dulux Natural Hessian. I wanted a warm but not too deep / dark warm beige-y pale biscuit-y colour and that’s what we got. Very different in different light though. It’s not at all grey. We used it in a rather dark kitchen ( pale wood floor, white units and cornice) and it’s wonderfully warm and light.

I have since used it again in a bright shower room and it’s still lovely, but looks a slightly different colour!

Thank you for replying. I have tried Natural Hessian and unfortunately it didn’t look right with the mussel cupboards. I have used it before and loved it, but it won’t go here!!!

Dulux summer linen or timeless. We also like nutmeg white

How about Joas White by F&B. Just decorated my lounge in it & it's a lovely warm beige.

Do you have a picture of your room? Flooring included. Thanks

Yes, I’ve tried Joa’s white and it’s too yellowish against the cupboards. The mussel cupboards are a creamy greige colour. They match with farrow and ball shaded white, but this is very grey and I want to get away from grey. The kitchen is dark at one end and the extension end is light! I’ll take a photo

I would look at lick paint. Not tried their beige yet, but I like the look if them.

I think you might struggle to get the right colour as your floor is yellow /orange so warm and the units grey. I would.perhaos look to another colour than beige, so maybe a warm brown ( maybe mouses back from f n b) or reds are very on trend right now. So lick red 06 or 07. That might be way too dramatic for you though.

Our lounge is beige-ish. Can't remember the brand but the colour was called gentle fawn. I wasn't convinced at first but its grown on me. It was very different from the royal blue we had before.

Agreed. Plus whatever paint is chosen is going to look entirely different at the light and dark/artificially-lit ends of the room.

Try Sail White

Thank you for all your suggestions. The floor is actually darker than it looks on the photo and the units are a greyish beige but more on the beige side.

Ah. That’s a shame. If you’d go pinker there’s a pinky beige Farrow &Ball one called something like drying plaster or liniment or something that is v nice.

Soft truffle by dulux is lush. Quite purpley brown grey.

little Greene paint - china clay 1 is almost white but soft (pink ish, not grey ish). Or china clay mid which is slightly darker. I have CC1 on my ceilings and CC mid in my kitchen. I love it
