Sofa loose covers, has anyone used Plumbs?

Our big sofa needs new loose covers and we are thinking of using Plumbs, they seem to have good online reviews.

I was wondering if any mumsnetters had used them, and what was your experience.

My mum did and they were quite ill-fitting. They looked pretty awful tbh.

I have, but it was about 30 years ago. They were pretty awful then but as they are obviously still trading I guess they might have improved.

The covers when I had them looked cheap and horrible but I had an old sofa that was secondhand and threadbare and it was the best I could afford at the time.

My mum has and hers were great, so much so she went back for a second set. This was last year.

I did about 15 years ago - a consultant comes round to measure up and show you fabric samples, the covers are made up and the consultant comes back to fit them.

I was really pleased with them, but they weren’t cheap.
