Help with room layout

Is anyone able to help with ideas for how best to use this space for our family (2 young but not tiny kids).
We don’t want a TV in this room like the pic and want to fit in a good sized dining table. Is there enough space for a sofa/ some comfy seating too? And if so how would you arrange it to look nice and make the most of the space?
I think the space at the back of the kitchen is about 3.8x5.3.

Are you saying you "just" want some comfy chairs and a big table in there? Yes, there is plenty of space.

What about an L shaped sofa from the bifolds and then along the wall currently with the TV - ie facing into the room.

Then rotate the table 90 degrees.

Thank you for your reply! I was thinking similar on the L shaped sofa but was struggling to picture with a bigger dining table and wasn’t sure if it would feel like we’re trying to squeeze too much into the space.

I think if you swing the sofa(s) around you'll gain enough space to increase the table size - you will get back the space between the tv and sofa from the diagram.
