Help with wall colour

We had an issue with our downstairs cloakroom a couple of months ago involving a leak and consequently had to have the whole lot ripped out. It’s now dry and plastered thankfully and I’m thinking about colours. I would like to have Zellica ink blue rectangular tiles which are a dark blue on the toilet wall and am looking for a colour to paint the rest. Can anyone suggest something that might work? I like a bold look and would quite like it to be fairly dark but I’m not sure about all dark blue. The taps etc we have gone for are brushed gold. It’s around 1m x 3m in total. Thank you!

Does it have a window? How much light does it get and from what direction? or is it always artificially lit?

Search for a dark blue botanical wallpaper for a feature wall and paint the walls a colour that goes well with that.

It might be a neutral or a dark blue.

OK. It’s just I have a dark blue living room, and when trying colours, noticed that some looked great by daylight and dreadful by electric light and vice versa. Those tiles are lovely. I’d probably do F and B Railings or Inchyra Blue and make sure the lighting is warm.

Oh, and paint the ceiling in the wall colour!

I would go for a turquoise - or one of the specific blues / greens that you see in a peacocks feather as I always think that’s a beautiful combination.

I'd go for the same dark blue as the tiles.

I prefer dark, saturated colours so I'd want the walls and ceiling the same colour as the tiles. However, I also love pattern so as there's no window for a blind, I think wallpaper (on all non-tiled walls as I'm not a fan of feature walls) would look lovely. Therefore I'd be looking for a wallpaper with a background the same colour as the tiles or at least a lot of that dark blue in the pattern.

Different to other suggestions but I would go with a terracotta sort of peachy shade! Nice contrast with dark blue and warms up the room

The colour of plaster would give an idea.
Farrow and Ball even have a colour called Setting plaster.
