Did anyone have this poster in the nineties?

[Justonemorecoffeeplease]

Hello all,

I’m searching for a poster I had in my student bedroom in the early nineties. It was a landscape of a fantasy like world looking towards a hill. I don’t think there were any figures but it has a King Arthur type vibe. I’ve done an image search but can’t find it anywhere. My daughter’s off in a few weeks to uni and it set me down memory lane. Anyone remember it?

Then Our Price and Scribbler.

You were all so classy. I had Robbie Williams ripped out of the centre of a magazine.

Remember seeing them in Athena in Victoria Station....

Putting on my best heather shimmer lipgloss to read the thread

@DrFoxtrot I had Nuno Bettencourt, was more of a rock chick back then. 🤣

There's a Roger Dean art gallery in some guest accommodation where I was staying on Tuesday. I adored looking around it - brought back memories from my youth! Its such a funny coincidence that I hadn't thought about his incredible artwork for years then he turns up twice in a few days!

😆

I loved Athena and browsing in there after school in the ‘80s. I have a collection of postcards of film stars and pop stars that I liked at the time, prints of Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and Clint Eastwood in moody black and white or airbrushed pop art in bright red and blue clip frames. I’ve got a classic picture of a 1950s car with two lovers sprawled across the bonnet kissing each other. Great memories, thank you! Our Body Shop was also next to it I think and we’d spend ages at the perfume bar testing the oils in their droppers. I had a friend who loved Dewberry and one who loved White Musk. I had White Musk and Tea Rose. I still have some of the Tea Rose in its little plastic bottle, now forty-one years old! I’m not a hoarder, I just keep the things I love. Other things from the Body Shop were a carrot oil for the skin, aduki bean scrub, a Victorian hair oil which I had no idea what to do with then but would like now! I used to get chamomile hair packs as well
Sorry OP! I’m so pleased someone found the poster image it’s lovely.

i was coming here to suggest Rodney Matthews. I had a calendar for a couple of years, i put the pictures in frames afterwards, i still have some of them (although mine were in the 80s)

i also had this Biba poster

used to love going to Woolies and clanging those metal poster racks used to make a really loud noise! some of those posters were lovely wish i had them now

It reminds me of an Ozric Tentacles album cover.

I had my own private idaho, Jim Morrison and The Crow. Everything else was ripped from magazines.

I feel like kids are missing out now. I've encouraged, actively suggested, posters etc to my two dc.... but their walls are blank. Weird.
