1960s armchair slipcover or reupholster?

I have a 1960's vintage Parker Knoll wing back armchair. (The one in the picture isn’t mine - it’s from eBay - but it’s the same model). It is in good condition but I’d like to cover it in a different fabric. Is it possible to have a slip cover made for a chair like this? Sorry if silly question, but I’m wondering how that would work with the wing back shape, etc. I’m assuming it would have to be bespoke? I don’t want the expense of reupholstering, especially as it’s in good condition.

It's worth looking into slipcovers. I recently found the product range had moved on and you get covers for L shaped sofas, modular sofas and riser recliners. It will give you time to get reupholstery costs and the perfect patter sorted.

would you be able to paint it with chalk paint? I’ve seen some great results where the chair was structurally sound and the fabric wasn’t a 3 D patterned jacquard type

@Chocolateteabag paint fabric with chalk paint?? I am confused.. maybe I’m thinking of the wrong things (newborn care brain) can you expand? I’m v interested in how this would work!

@DameDemelza I have one of those lovely IKEA midcentury style chairs that they no longer make and are hard to find. The fabric has been faded by the conservatory and I’ve looked into the options of getting a cover or getting it reupholstered. I know it’s likely to fade again so I’m thinking of a cover, however the prices aren’t actually tiny and I’m such a cost versus worth person. Certainly if I wasn’t sure it was going to fade I’d probably save the money up and invest in getting it reupholstered. That being said, because it’s a recognise chair design – you can actually get cover specifically for your chair. I found one specific to my IKEA chair although obviously it’s like IKEA ha ha so v ubiquitous!
