Nic nacs storage & display

Clearing an elderly relatives house, I've acquired a number of nic nacs. Some are borderline chintz or tat, some are collectable antiques. All of it has sentimental value. Most of it is no bigger than a mug.
Any thoughts on how to display it in a stylish, contemporary?

You can get display shelves - like a sort of lattice that you put lots of different little trinkets into?

i genuinely thought this was about crisps!

I have lots of small bits and pieces and I rotate them. Put a couple on the mantelpiece or a shelf for a few weeks then, when I stop noticing them any more I swap them out for a different couple of bits. Keeps things fresh, means I 'see' them and my house isn't swamped with loads and loads of little bits.

Would wall mounted printers trays work for the smaller items?

I second this. You don't need everything out at once, just rotate when you fancy it. Also think about different areas to display things - i have a figure in our bathroom for example.
