Please help me find a dining table and chairs! I’m hopeless at interior design

I will be buying a house with a white gloss kitchen and black porcelain work surfaces.

I will need a dining table and chairs for the diner, ideally something small to sit 4 that will extend to 6. Unextended about 100cm across.

We already own a really nice cabinet that I’d like to go in the diner alongside the table, I have pictured this. The colour of this is putty.

Can any of you clever folk find me a dining table and chairs that will work with the very modern and stark kitchen but go with tye wood topped cabinet?

Would you consider painting your cabinet so it blends in better with the kitchen? A similar colour palette may make it easier to choose a dining set.

I could paint the top of the cabinet white I guess.

the cabinet is lovely but a very different style to the kitchen and they don't comfortably sit side by side.
Could you relocate it to the lounge?hall? office? bedroom? bathroom?

Yes I’ve decided that as much as I love the cabinet it isn’t going to work..
I don’t think I can fit it in anywhere else so will have to sell it which is a shame.

So, I need a table and hopefully a small sideboard to go in the space. I’m thinking a white extending table and black sideboard? This is a new build thought so the walls have to be white and unpainted for a year. I suspect it may look a bit monochrome.

id love to introduce some warmer colours in but not quite sure how to pull it all together.

the show home has the atttached pic with a glass table and black chairs but ideally I need an extending table which rules glass out.
