Which rug?

Would love some ideas, have added some pics of what's in the room so far.
Walls are all cream, sofas are pink with these green floral cushions, only other furniture is this black TV cabinet. There's a very small black side table that has a pink vase with flowers in it.
Don't know what rug to go for to bring it all together, just that I don't want anything too "fluffy" or anything that wouldn't work with a cat.

I would think a faded type of rug; no idea what they’re called, but I would google “faded persian rugs” to get an idea.

Something in the powder blue colour that’s on the cushion.

I would get rid of those green floral cushions (sorry) and move toward a more neutral palette. This kind of vibe:

The cushions are one of the rare pops of colour in my muted house and I adore them :)

I think the green cushions are the wrong tone for that colour pink sofa (it’s lovely!) And that black will be too harsh with pale pink sofas and cream-coloured walls. Wooden furniture would work far better.

Given the black furniture I would go for something more modern than Persian. I would also add some more cushions in the shades from the rug and the existing cushions. Pattern matching is in. This rug might work
