portable air con unit - water or pipe?

I’m thinking we should get one that you fill with water so we can move it around more freely. If you have one, do you recommend it? Are they quite easy to move around with water in?

I think those are two different things maybe. Something you fill with water will be an evaporative cooler, normally small and portable.
Portable aircon units need to be near a window or door so they can be vented. These will give you a colder room than an evaporative cooler.
Both will be portable, evaporative coolers can be quite small. Both will normally have wheels.

I have one you fill with water. It’s like a fan that blows cool air. Nowhere near as good as air con and doesn’t do much good in a severe heatwave. Only cools you down if you’re right in front of it.

Thanks for letting me know. I was going to get the one you fill with water but I will try get the one with the pipe. If I ever find any in stock!
