Im looking for a corner daybed for my teenage daughter. She has a small room and I want to replace her king size bed which takes up a lot of space. Need to replace it with something that will sleep 1 and occasionally 2, comfortably. The floor is carpeted.
Do trundles work, or am I better off getting a single bed and a separate "chair bed"? I am not sure how comfortable either option will be. I think this second bed will be used about 15 to 20 times a year when she has a friend sleeping over. I also dont know how easy it is to clean under a trundle bed.
She would like a corner / L shaped fabric daybed and it is proving difficult to get this configuration with a trundle, which is also well reviewed. Most of the options I found look flimsy and have poor reviews. I dont mind spending more for a decent bed / mattress brand which will not fall apart or sag in a year.
Keen to hear of any brands that you recommend for these options and general experience of a trundle. Thanks.
