Best flooring to suit MCM furniture?

Good morning!

We’re currently renovating a house we’ve purchased. We have decided to go for mid-century modern decor - lots of burnt orange and deep green.

We’ve bought some lovely G-Plan furniture (nest of tables, chairs, sideboard etc) through marketplace.
Our living room/ dining room is separated by an archway so all essentially one room.

We’re struggling to decide on a colour for flooring to complement the colour scheme and furniture we’ve gone with. Furniture currently being stored in the garage.

We’re going for LVT flooring just due to having young children and a dog. Does anyone have any colour recommendations which will work well with the teak tone of the furniture?

Thanks in advance

That sounds like the house i grew up in, lovely! Obviously we had hideous carpet so cant help on the flooring.

A warm herringbone wood effect, like this? Or parquet effect (warm again)

Or deep green?

The Parquet flooring is highly desirable and lasts a lifetime.

@SwirlyGatesThank you. I think the first option is lovely. @DisplayPurposesOnlyThere is peach carpet in there at the moment, anything is an improvement! @SooveritallThank you, leaning more towards herringbone!

Could you go for cork rather than lvt? Warm, sustainable and fits a mid century vibe
