That's it really! I'm looking for inspiration for a table lamp for the living room. Where did you buy yours?

Depends on your style?

I like Pooky and Jim Lawrence for lighting in general, and OKA for table lamps specifically but to be honest most of my lamps come from auctions and then checked and re-wired.

I have two of these; got them on sale a few years ago and I love them.

Sainsbury’s/Habitat have a lovely at the moment if you’re into that kind of classic design

I love a lamp but mostly into vintage ones. I love anything glass and gold. This one is an old BHS with a new Next shade.

Here's four for the price of one! I have a dark maximalist room and like Tiffany lamps, plus my illuminated vintage globe.

@Goodwitch9 We're also quite maximalist and love colour, pattern and stuff, so our choice of lamps reflects that!

This vintage lamp base was gifted to us in 2008 by a lovely eBay seller in London from whom we purchased several original Art Nouveau pieces (including two massive mirrors and a brass embellished plant stand), Art Nouveau being a passion of ours. The Pooky x GP & J Baker collaboration lampshade came later and was a charity shop bargain. I particularly like the way the green trim of the lampshade picks up the green glass grapes and leaves on the lamp base 😍
