Farrow & Ball Eggshell - not quite white

Looked on the F&B website and couldn't cope with the range of not-quite-whites. Friend recommended this paint as quick to dry and durable (painting stairs). The other wood work is brilliant white but a few years old and I fear painting just the stairs brilliant white will highlight the less than brilliance white around it.

Can anyone recommend a F&B eggshell that they like? TIA

Very personal choice but my picks are Slipper Satin if south or west facing, Dimity if north or east.

What colour are your walls? The F&B website will give you the “right” white to go with your colour.

I use this website to look at different paint colours side by side hextoral.com/side-by-side/

Thanks both. Stair wall is fawn. Bottom of stairs are well lit by west facing facing door panels, then darker towards the top

Try Little Greene instead? I switched from F&B a few years ago as LG has a wider range of colours and is actually better quality. Slaked Lime is my go to off white.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! More choice! But thank you! I used Little Greene on our front door and it does look good.

DH says F&B are a pig to paint with and favours Mylands - just to add more choice 🤣

Ha! I usually use Dulux but wasn't impressed with their satinwood. Mainly want it to wear as well as possible.
