Comfortable dining chairs

I WFH and have been using my dining table since 2020 as a desk. My chairs are starting to give me a painful butt.
I want new chairs that will go with my wooden table which are more comfortable and suitable for sitting on all day. We don’t have a spare room to set up an office so office chairs don’t work for me.

I think the current issue is cheap chairs with rubbish padding. A cushion doesn’t help

Get upholstered dining chairs with thick padding and good back support. They still match a wooden table but are much more comfortable for all-day sitting. Avoid hard or thin-padded chairs they cause pressure pain.

We have Cynthia Rowley parson’s dining chairs and they are supremely comfortable. I often sit there all day and don’t notice. As someone who suffers with a bad back if she sits in the ‘wrong’ chair (and I never know if it’s wrong til after the fact) I can honestly say these are great.

Thank you. Off to check some of these out. I’ve been into the office today and sat in a proper office chair. What a difference.
