Does anyone have this dresser (or similar from the same range) and could tell me what the quality is like? Seems expensive for MDF

No but I have other dunelm pre-built furniture and it’s great quality. With this, you are quite clearly paying more for the design.

We went in store today and they had a bedside table on display. It seems sturdy enough and it looks lovely in person. Just such a lot of money spend I can’t decide.

I bought something in Dunelm yesterday and got given a 10% voucher. Is yours doing that?

dunelm are really smashing it at the moment. That dresser is beautiful.

I wouldn't pay nearly 500 quid on a mass produced 'painted' mdf unit . Way over priced and i would worry in case i tired of the design

I think if you download the app (if you’ve not already got it) you can get 10% off your first order

I like the hall cabinet version. Can’t justify it all the moment though

Squirrelandhedgehogs · 14/03/2026 19:35

We have the smaller bedside table and that has been fine, our rather heavy handed asd teenager uses it and no issues though only about 9 months.

It’s lovely OP, but watch your hoover on those legs!!!

Our hallway table takes a hammering but because it’s real wood it sort of adds to the patina and I don’t mind.

Im not sure the paintwork or quality of MDF in that cabinet would last more than a couple of years. I think it could look tatty quickly. Plus it’s quite a unique style so may date.
