We moved last year and have completed the first stage of a renovation. Now we’ve reached the ground floor and I’m running out of steam decision wise. We are having an extension with 5m sliding doors (I think) across the front with apex glass above it and 2.7m on the side. We’ve ruled out bifolds but can’t now choose between heritage French doors or stick with 3 large panel thin framed aluminium sliders. Also stuck between black or white. We are south facing and rest of the new house windows are all flush fit white with heritage cross. Instinct is telling me that black will look odd against the rest of the house a black will absorb the heat. Our vibe is very classic rather than modern. Help ! My brain is done with making decisions.
