Colourful kitchen ideas?

I’m looking for ideas to brighten up my kitchen. it’s a large bright space (windows on both sides) but can be chilly. The units are the kind that can be painted (currently navy/ grey and very tired) white worktops. Also have quite a lot of natural wood and an old brown leader sofa which are fixtures. My small appliances are red.

its currently painted white (by previous owners) but we like stronger colours. I quite like the ideas of a sunflower yellow/ gold but that might be too much for a large space. Also we have pale blue tiles splash backs which will have to stay.

Does anyone have any ‘bright’ design ideas that could include pale blue tiles?

Not for everyone, but I think peach and blue go well and would work in a large kitchen.

We have a bright emerald green kitchen and red accessories and i love it

Replacing worktops can be relatively straightforward and affordable - and modern style sharp corners and finish can make a huge difference.

I think sunflower would look beautiful! Or am ochre colour.

i wonder if a sea green might look quite gorgeous as an alternative.

I think blue and red can look so great together, so would something like this work?

(picture is not a kitchen! but you can see the colours)

Maybe that’s not enough of a change from the navy you’ve got now though.

We had similar colours to this in the kitchen at our previous house and it worked really well, imo.

Our base cabinets and island were F&B Oval Room Blue whilst the wall cupboards and walls, woodwork etc were cream (Craig & Rose Pale Oak). We had a red/turquoise and cream wallpaper splash back behind tempered glass and a red range cooker.

I'll try to find a pic.

If the caskets are intact and the layout is what you want, then change the doors. We did this on a previous property and also changed the handles. Everyone thought we'd had a brand new kitchen. You could go terracotta/reddish to complement the blue tiles and bring warmth. Do you have indoor plants on the windows sills?

So nice - especially love that blue with the worktop (and the moka pots)
