It's currently painted Dulux Trenchcoat, which works well colour wise with the light. I'm ideally looking for wallpaper ideas - I saw something with birds in the design which was kind of a modern take on a traditional pattern but of course I can't find it now (I think it had pink in it). It's an Edwardian Arts and Crafts house with high ceilings. It can take bolder patterns and colours, but this is a small space.

Anyone? It was like a modern take on Simply Strawberry Thief iirc.

Ben Pentreath did a collection for Morris recently, those are traditional prints in modern colours? And Clarke and Clarke also do a Morris range at a better cost?

My favourite wallpapers are Timorous Beasties though. Really eye catching.

I remember thinking it had a Morris feel. Thanks for those suggestions, I shall have a look.

Well I still haven't found it. It was a Morris type repeated motif with a scandi folk feel, if that makes sense? When I read that back it sounds like a load of cobblers! I am beginning to wonder if I imagined it.

Was it from Claret and Key. They have one similar to strawberry thief but definitely more Scandi/modern. The pattern called Lark

That is beautiful, but not the one I am thinking of. Thank you.

That is lovely, but not what I remember seeing.

Ok but you said you were “looking for wallpaper ideas” and you aren’t even sure of what you are thinking of exists?

I appreciate the suggestions, which are lovely, but you know what it's like when you have something specific in mind and can't then find it!
