Hello

Does anyone have a bed like this and can recommend a specific brand and model for sturdiness?

DD 11 was looking for a mid rise sleeper but has given up the idea since I didnt find any that would fit her room well because of eaves (I had another thread here on this topic).

She now wants an upholstered daybed that converts into a double bed or has a trundle, and ideally has usb ports to charge devices (latter is strictly nice to have, not essential). It will mostly be used as a single bed but will be extended once a week or so. I see models on Amazon, B&Q but not sure of the quality and they are cheaper than i thought a good bed would cost. Although it helps if the extended bed is at the same level, I would rather buy a trundle if that is sturdier.

Has anyone bought such a bed and can recommend? I dont want the ikea Hemnes (which we used as a guest bed previously) since it isnt upholstered and I found the mattresses quite thin for regular use. Thank you.

What's your budget?

I have this trundle upholstered bed in my baby's room so we can sleep well whilst nearby if needed. I would recommend it, but we've only had it around 6 months

For the bed alone, I could go to £500 i suppose. Just need some reassurance that the lower priced daybed would work (the one I linked is priced similar)

Anyone else, please?
