Faux sisal carpet or next best thing?

I was looking to get something that is visually like sisal/jute - but with young children it needs to be easily cleaned - so have been researching faux versions. Companies like Unnatural flooring and alternative flooring… but I’ve just been quoted £7k for it! 🫠 So that’s probably out….

Does anyone have any recommendations for a landing and stair runner carpet that will survive daily wear and tear, has a beautiful classic look but without the enormous price tag?
Thanks!

We just had one fitted and I love it. It’s not real sisal and actually that’s supposedly a bit too slippy for stairs. On the recommendation of the carpet fitter we went for this one in the wild ginger colour and the stripe weave: https://www.victoriacarpets.com/collections/natureborn/sisal%20weave

It looks fabulous!

Just to say, this is what I went for! Absolutely delighted with it - thank you for the suggestion 😊

Looks good! I'm moving into an upstairs flat & would prefer a hard floor (mud, pets) but don't want to drive my downstairs neighbour mad with loud footsteps, so a short tough carpet is the likely compromise.

@frillsandtulipscan I ask which colour you want for?

@frillsandtulips was it stair and landing you had done, and do you mind sharing how much it cost?

£4k - which was for two landings and the stairs. Still not cheap….but less than the faux sisal, and I think cosier too!
