How to carpet a furnished house?

Maybe i’m just being dense but no idea how we will manage this?
We want to carpet the upstairs of our house, currently floorboards. 3 bedrooms and a hallway, all to be done at once. All 3 bedrooms have the usual furniture, wardrobes, double beds, drawers, chairs- whilst everything is moveable in theory- how do we do this? Pile it all in one/2 rooms then move the stuff into a finished room?? Really can’t imagine how chaotic that will be! Anyone done this and got any tips??

When I had mine done I left them to it. Made sure the floor was clear and they moved furniture from one side of the room and then to the other but it was all done as part of the quote

The carpet fitter we had asked us to move the smaller furniture out, but they moved the bed (we laid it on its side minus the mattress) and the wardrobe as they went.
