Drapes for bed

I’ve got this style of bed and I wanted to add some drapes to it. Has anyone done this? Should I buy curtains?! Any ideas welcome!

Dust gatherers if lined material. I've always fancied some voile though.

Yes I was thinking something lightweight like voile. I just wasn’t sure where to start. I don’t want it to look messy or just thrown on. I wondered if there are curtains where you can sort of Velcro attach them or something

If you use tie-top curtains, you won't need any hardware. And if you change your mind, you can just untie them. I saw this photo on Etsy.
