Designing a kitchenette - could I use a dresser?

Not for everything but I have one a bit like this:

With solid doors up top, and no door in the middle at the bottom

I thought to put a combination microwave in the middle, crockery/glasses in the upper cupboards

Maybe cooking trays etc in the shelves in the middle at the bottom and get drawers made for the bottom cupboards using the door as a front

The shelves either side to have airfryer/kettle/toaster

With mine the top is separate from the bottom soni could push it back & fix it to the wall and cover the tip with a thin laminate cover (or something)

Obviously id need a sink/fridge/dishwasher somewhere else

But would it look daft?

I think it would be lovely. You could have the top replaced with granite or a composite if you wanted? A good kitchen fitter should be able to do it. Will be maybe £600?

Thanks guys - and a nice retro fridge freezer

Actually I have a matching side board that could be the sink I reckon

Hmm how much space do I need I wonder?
