What's going on with IKEA bedroom furniture availability?

Anyone else struggling?

Our first choices are not available in any of the colours we want. Only white seems to be available.

This applies to collection and delivery from any of our local stores (we are Essex/London)

Is there likely to be new stock soon? Or are they simply discontinued?

Hoping to find someone here who knows 🙏

Interesting, I was in the Greenwich one today trying to buy storage for DD’s room and had to get it in an alternative colour as they didn’t have the one we wanted. And I also wanted a mattress topper but the section for those (big sign saying mattress toppers) was filled with pillows and the staff were not helpful when I asked if they’ve moved so couldn’t get one.

I've never known IKEA have problems with stock like this, in all the years I've been shopping with them.

Are there any alternatives with similar quality and price?

Can you go on the website and set up an alert when it comes back in stock? I did that when I was wanting a kallax storage unit a year or two ago.

Just to add, it came in and out of stock quite quickly, so I missed it on the first email.

We can but there are so many out of stock ranges that we're worried it's a bigger issue. We don't want to waste weeks waiting for something that might never appear.
