So I have this property what can I do to it to make it look more modern in a more cost effective way I was thinking taking them tiles off and changing them please I’m open to ideas also what I can do with the outside door please advice would be needed thank you

Tidy up wires on the front of house (remove any redundant ones), repaint the render and and woodwork around the windows.
If budget stretched to it I’d say a new front door would be a way to modernise? And new windows but that would be expensive.

The front top needs rerendering or repainting, I do not like the combination with the brick, though if you cleaned them might be ok. The tiles are not the issue here. The windows are awful - that and the door would be an essential change and along with repainting and doing something about the brick will transform it. None of this is cheap though - not if you want it done properly.

I think repainting the render and putting in a new front door would make a huge difference.

i Have the wood thing ontop of the window what do they call that

1. clean the upper render then paint it white
2. leave the tiles as they are, they are fine and will look good against the white
3. tidy up the wires - if possible reroute them so they come out of the house nearer to where they need to run. If not possible buy a conduit (as narrow as possible) and run them through that then pin the conduit along the window so it’s not flopping down across the brickwork
4. change the front door - you could look for a second hand 30s one on ebay, make sure it is the same size or larger than your current door and it can be trimmed down to fit. Buy a wooden door and you can paint it nicely
5. change windows but this will cost a lot…

if you are doing the house up to sell, get a couple of BIG plastic plant pots - put them either side of the door with plants in

and fix the wood / little roof above the upstairs window. that looks like it might leak and would be very off putting to a purchaser.

Also you could have the doors an windows sprayed, not current grey trend but maybe a pale sage and paint the render.
