Bathroom paint colour: marble panels & brass fittings

I've nearly finished having my bathroom fitted and need to choose the paint colour and haven't got a clue what I'd like.
The window is north-west and the room is 3x2m.

I can't decide if I want to go pale on the painted areas or go really bold with a strong colour. I don't want white towels and mats though so if I did a strong colour on the walls, could I match or contrast it with the towels etc?
These are the panels behind the shower and bath
This is the floor, and we've got brushed brass fittings.
If this was a south facing bathroom I'd go for a soft blue, but I think that would feel too cold.

Pergamon Marble 1m wide - Neptune 1000 - PVC Wall Panel - 1m - (Single Panel) - AllPanels

This water-resistant wall panel has a classic marble-like style and a glossy finish. The white veins on a beige soft tone make it a warm and amazing addition to spaces that need to be elevated with a classic design. 0/5 (0 Reviews)

I have virtually the same panels. (I'm really hoping the bathroom will be finished this week!)

I've gone for white paint in the walls in the hope of future proofing and it won't date.

My bathroom is off the kitchen, kitchen has crazy wallpaper, so I've matched new towels with colours in the wallpaper to flow through.

I've gone for chrome fittings though.
