Sending out for help for a sofa please!

We are having our floor done and dismantled our Next sofa last night (which we aren’t that keen on but that’s another story). It turns out it’s constructed really badly and we aren’t sure it’s going to last that much longer when we try to get it back together.

We’ve had M&S and JL in the past (which we loved but didn’t fit in the houses when we moved) but are at a loss at where to go. I’ve always lusted after Loaf but the Trust Pilot reviews tell me to stay away. We are after low, slouchy, comfy. Like this Next one (not orange) but not Next. We are in the NE so can’t go to the various showrooms that people always mention on here and DFS has nothing.

Don’t bother with M & S now. The cushion covers on ours went baggy within a matter of weeks and they refused to acknowledge or do anything about it.

I think marks have stopped doing big furniture anyway. When we were dismantling the armchair, the legs on that were not great either. It just feels like nothing is made well anymore.

I ordered an armchair from sofa.com and have been really impressed with the quality. It feels very sturdy and four years on it looks brand new.

I also really liked the quality of Sofas & Stuff but couldn’t afford them!

A friend of a friend makes a living from putting new cushions into loaf sofas for unhappy customers. They sag terribly and need a lot of plumping.
