What length curtains?

I'm wanting floor length curtains in my bedroom, it's a bay window with a track and from the top of the track to the floor it is 205cm. I don't want to pay for made to measure and the length of the premade ones are either 182 or 228 cm long.

Are either of those an option? (Aside from taking the longer ones up..) Or would one be too short and one too long?

my personal preference would be to get the longer ones and take them up. I can’t bear long curtains that don’t skim the floor.
i had the same issue they were velvet look curtains from Ikea which are ridiculously long. They were so creased when I unpacked them I washed them and the shrunk to the perfect floor slimming length saving me the bother of shortening them.
that was a happy accident but previously I’ve used wonderweb and it’s worked really well
even on heavy chenille curtains.

Longer ones & take them up. Hassle I know, but that's life.

I think curtains that were 20cm off the floor would look bad. Get the longer ones and hem them.

Longer ones. You could let them pool/puddle on the floor as an alternative if you’ve enough room and are of sufficient weight to pool nicely. Taking them up would be my preference.

The best way to take curtains up is to unpick the header tape, cut a bit off, fold the top over to hide the raw edge and then see the header tape back on over the folded over bit. Easy to do it you have a sewing machine and you might be able to get a local clothing alteration place to do it for not much if you ask nicely. It's a quick job if you have a sewing machine.

I've previously done exactly what @Geneticsbunny suggests (after years of taking them up at the hem 🙄) - it's far easier! Alternatively, let them puddle on the floor - although that look has had its day, imo, and anyway isn't for everyone.

When I worked we used to describe those too-short long curtains as “hinging like hinging mince”
Im not sure why but they were a “thing” and didn’t look good.

Definitely long and see what they look like scooped back before you take them up.
