I'm after inspiration for our living room please.
We have a large bay window and I'm at a loss as to how to dress it.
The walls are raspberry, oatmeal carpet and the sofas are brown leather. We won't be keeping the sideboard in the long term. If we did get curtains, what colour would you go with.
Many thanks.

I would go with something botanical and mostly greens which picks up the same tone of the raspberry from the walls in an accent colour.

Something like this https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/506215123/william-morris-blackthorn-green-made-to?ref=elp_anchor_listing&sts=1

I was going to say something similar to @Geneticsbunny. Love a botanical pattern and you can't go wrong with William Morris.

Green is a good shout with your raspberry walls @Sanddancing, although we've opted for yellow Mind the Gap curtains to pair with our colour drenched pink (Edward Bulmer Nicaragua) snug. I was leaning towards green, but having had deep green velvet damask curtains for years in a previous house I fancied something a bit different!

thank you, I’ll have a look. I’d been looking at heavier fabric and one colour so something to think about

William Morris fabrics come in heavier weight linen too @Sanddancing and even if you choose a lighter weight fabric, your curtains can be interlined to give additional thickness/draught proofing.

The Mind the Gap fabric we chose is a fairly hefty 100% linen, but I'm interlining them as well as using blackout lining.

I'd look for a winter white or putty colour with a raspberry weave or check, or similar
