Please may I have some help re Christmas decs for a bedroom?

DD has been away from home for months and is due back mid December. She loves Christmas and is always the first to ask when the tree is going up etc.

I'd like to surprise her by decorating her bedroom (Christmas decorations, not re painting/papering).

I know she's partial to fairy lights etc. Any suggestions please? The room was only decorated late last year so I want to be especially careful not to damage walls etc. I have a small artificial tree that I can put in there.

I don't have a creative bone in my body so please feel free to be as direct as possible.

She has a plain wall opposite her bed. A wooden bed with headboard. 2 very small bedside tables. A dressing table on a side wall. 2 windows with blinds, small window sills.

Just some random ideas that came to my mind: -

Drape an artificial garland along the headboard

Hang a wreath above the bed (sticky command hook?)

Christmas/tartan bedding or plain bedding with a Christmassy or red throw/blanket

A christmas themed cushion to pop on the bed

Christmas ornament for bedside tables

If the dressing table has any handles/knobs then hang a stocking

Maybe consider making yourself a Pinterest account and searching for Christmas Bedroom Decor on there 😊
