Desk in a small bedroom

I’ve got a small bedroom and I’m debating whether to squeeze a desk in. I really need a workspace, but I’m worried it might make the room feel cramped or stop it being relaxing. Has anyone managed to make it work in a small space? Is it an awful idea

I bought a Studybed (check out their website.) Best thing I have ever bought! Totally solves the problem.

Fold out desk attached to the wall. Fold back flat when not in use.

My daughter has this, it’s the smallest desk I could find which went with her white wardrobes. It doubles up as a vanity unit, she uses the drawer for her makeup. Works very well in a small space.
