Wood burner?

Hi, we are moving into a new house which has a wood burner. Please can someone help us as to whether you can put a TV on the wall above it and whether there are legalities regarding gap measurements etc. Thanks ☺️

You'll need to look up the installation instruction for your make and model and it will give clearances. You may get a bit of heat damage in hanging the TV above the fireplace, even if you are outside the clearance area. A thick mantel will help block heat but your fireplace wall will get warm too. I have a very small stove and my clearance is 90 cm in any direction. So nothing flammable within 90 cm. My fireplace wall gets warm too the touch all the way up.
