Colour washing my boring kitchen

I plan to have my kitchen painted in farrow and ball Reduced Green. It’s a north facing room with little natural light. I have colourful art work for the walls. Wondering if I should paint the ceiling in a sympathetic white or wash in green too

It sounds amazing! For me, I’d go for pure brilliant white or F&B All White, but I can also see the appeal of doing the whole thing in green, especially for winter, or using the complementary white. Don’t think you can go wrong really!

What colour or finish are any units or cupboards?

Units and wall all the same colour. Hoping it’ll look dramatic but not alarming. Have bought a fabulous poster by Emile Nolde which I’m having framed. Honestly it’s taken me so long in choosing a colour. Family and friends’ eyes glaze over when I mention it!

Natural wood work surface and there’s a very old butlers pine table

Just watched the farrow and ball video about reduced green. With colourful artwork planned I think I would go white too, like pp. But agree, it's going to look great whatever you decide.

Aw thanks. I’ll post when it’s done.
