Painting UPVC kitchen window and door frame

Has anyone successfully painted UPVC windows and door frames (it’s mostly glass but the frame around). I really fancy painting mine a very dark grey, it’s currently white. Has it worked and what did you use, or should we leave it as it is ?

Use some ESP on the surface first, then when it's dry just paint over with your choice of paint. It's amazing stuff, great for UPVC or melamine or any surface really!
