Recommendations for bathroom cabinets

I need some new bathroom cabinets (over sink cupboard/mirrors) and free-standing unit for storage.

Can anyone recommend a good make or store (London)? The fashion seems to be for wall mounted tall units but I’m not so keen!

Our ancient ones were solid metal but the company that made them doesn’t exist anymore.

The ones I’ve seen recently seem to fall into the ‘bloody expensive and ‘fancy designer’’ or ‘cheap and shoogly’ camp! Or online so you can’t really see the quality 🙄

We bought a vintage french wooden wall cupboard on etsy for exactly this reason. The new one I liked was £800 which was more than I was prepared to pay.

I did the same for the same reasons. Bought an old sideboard and had it converted into a double sink unit. I think it cost about £500 including a custom made marble top and the sinks (taps were wall mounted).

And why are the majority of the tall boy units bloody wall mounted these days? 😡

Might be better to get one a custom-made by local carpenter 🤷🏻‍♀️
