Green bedroom, light carpet?

I need some help in choosing colours for my bedroom please. I like the idea of something along the lines of this picture.

I have dark wood furniture (antique oak) which I don’t want to change. It’s quite a large room that gets a lot of sunshine. Do you think this could work.
One issue is that I have an existing off white carpet which I can’t change. Do you think I can still pull off this look. Also can anyone recommend a nice green paint which will not be too lime or khaki. Thank you

Love these colours. Green and wood and off white/cream all look lovely together. You can always get a rug to go under just the bottom half of the bed to help tie any colours in

Dulux Overtly Olive is a really gentle green. We have it in our bedroom with a seagrass carpet and it's the most restful room in our house. We colour drenched the walls and woodwork.

Personally I would go a bit lighter to work with the carpet, particularly with dark brown furniture. Eg F&B Teresa Green, Vert de Terre or Mizzle. Or Designer’s Guild Eau de Nil.

I've just done my bedroom in Albany barns green. A strong mid green. I have gone for an oatmeal kinda carpet.
