Online, from blindsdirect or blinds2go or similar. They show you exactly how to measure, and to fit, and some will send fabric samples for you to choose from. I've always found them good value.

If it's a very standard size window (60cm or 90cm wide or similar) you can buy lots of ready made ones at Dunelm, John Lewis, B&Q etc.

You can usually cut those down to size, but it is fiddly and hard to get them looking really neat, so for non-standard sizes I would go for made-to-measure ones from Blinds2Go or similar.

Or if you have the budget for it, John Lewis and other places do really nice made to measure ones with more upmarket fabrics, but you are looking at £££ for full size windows.

I swear by Blinds2Go, we have several different types from them for different parts of the house and all have been excellent quality and easy to fit.

Look for a local fitter/ blinds company. They will come and measure bringing samples and advise on the best type. They can quote based on budget.
I’m having a power blind (remote control) in my new kitchen. Had one before we moved and loved it.
The overall fit and presentation is better.

We've just had great success with cheap ones from ikea!

John Lewis. Decent quality for the price. Many online are not.

All of these made to measure blind companies will send out fabric samples in the post so start there. Fabric you like online often isn't nice in real life (or the colour you thought it was!) or vice versa, so samples are invaluable.

When you've got your samples and chosen the fabric, follow the measuring guide on their website and order online.

Use screwdriver to attach four screws to wall. Done.
