New bath towels

I’m looking for recommendations for towels that are rough and absorbent. My favourite towels are Kingsley home but I can’t find them anywhere (they are so old).

You want rough towels? Ouch!

I wash mine with vinegar instead of fabric softener (using normal washing powder / liquid).

This keeps them nice and absorbent, but also firm.

I need new towels though, and am after recommendations.

You need to be air drying the towels that gets them rough. I didn't realise most people expect towels to be soft until I left home. We had a tumble dryer but were never allowed to use it. I'm not sure you can buy them rough. I've recently bought towels from a hotel supplier. Cheaper but excellent quality.
