Lighting advice wanted for ‘bare bulb’ fittings

Hello, I would love some interior decor lighting advice. We have the attached fittings in our living room - 4 x bulbs hanging from loops of cord with a marble collar around a bare decorative screw-in bulb. They look very bright and glare a lot (particularly as they reflect in the glass wall of the extension). I’d rather not pay an electrician to change the fittings and was wondering if small shades could help…. But I don’t know what shades would work on these fittings (eg work with existing marble collar). Any suggestions very gratefully received! Thank you!

Could you get a warmer bulb with a softer glow as a starting point, and see if that changes the feel?

Agree about changing bulb - don’t think you’d find shades to cover the collar

How about you switch the bulbs for candle shaped bulbs and find some clip on shades which aren't tapered, these ones are clip on and cylindrical and would diffuse the light while adding some happiness to the aesthetic... www.universal-lighting.co.uk/products/white-linen-clip-on-lamp-shade-for-the-brianna-collection/

Thank you for these replies! Yes, changing the bulbs would be a good start - they are already have quite a 'warm' look (in fact it's very yellow) but maybe I can find some with less glare. I agree it would be hard to cover marble bit, was hoping a shade might screw in below - I have emailed this company to see if these shades might work https://www.dowsingandreynolds.com/shop/mini-linen-lampshade/?attribute_pa_colour=natural&attribute_pa_light-style=downlight&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20333806004&gbraid=0AAAAADm5cMm5Zt78DhdLnWTKLlBy2mbTU&gclid=CjwKCAjw_-3GBhAYEiwAjh9fUBxWtQJaEFaVxTQ9YLN2W7y_y7Q7eSu07AsXpBzIyGhINyDsPlrvsBoCMdgQAvD_BwE

Use frosted glass bulbs for our bare bulb fittings.
