Rechargeable Lamps Q

I’m hankering after a pair of rechargeable lamps to put on my kitchen table.

They come with a cell that holds 15 hours of charge. I could buy back-up cells so that I’ve always got a fully-charged cell to swap in but it’s more expense.

Has anyone got rechargeable lamps? Do you love them or is the charging up and messing about swapping cells over a faff/ PITA?

Mine have a usb charging cable I just plug in. No
messing around with batteries. The light is too white to be relaxing though.

funnily enough i am considering buying these - they are rechargeable and sit in the top of any bottle. they have good reviews. i saw them at my local garden centre and they were very attractive.

The ones I like don’t have this unfortunately. Interesting what you say about the light though. Thanks for replying.

My rechargeable lamps all have a USB cable you plug in to recharge them. I love them and find them so handy. I often wander around at night getting ready for bed carrying one of the lamps, a bit like a 21st century candle. 😛

Mine are all from Tom Dixon and have adjustable brightness settings.

I have the silver melt and 3 bell lamps (gold, silver, black).

I have one from Pooky lights and it’s great. There are three brightness settings and the bulb supplied with it is nice and warm (but not too warm). We have a USB plug socket on the kitchen island and I just charge it during daylight hours as and when required. Tbh I wouldn’t spend money now on the extra cells if you can, just see how you get on. We get 3-4 nights of use on one charge so you might not ever need them.

Pooky lights are gorgeous!

Mine is from Dunelm and I recharge it from my laptop via its cable. Very useful as I live in a house where there are very few sockets and the ones that there are are all over one side of the house. So without trailing cables it's impossible to have lamps in some places.

Rechargeable are great and I charge them from the laptop when I'm not using it.
