Sofa, so good…

I’m in the market for some new sofas, probably 3, of which one needs to be a sofa bed, I’d like machine washable sofa covers, I love the look of loose covers (I’m a child of the 80’s). Never having a button back sofa again as they’re impossible to clean with children.

Any ideas where to look? Currently sofas are a mix of John Lewis and Laura Ashley.

How has John Lewis become a clicky link? I didn’t do that!

Having spent a lot of money on previous sofas this time around we got IKEA and have been really impressed , covers are washable and also can buy on other colours but the cushions have kept their shape too and very comfortable - I’d suggest going to look at them in store

It depends how much you want to spend really?

I previously had an IKEA sofa and was very happy with it, every single part of it was machine washable and you can buy new covers directly from IKEA if needed.

Both my current sofas are M&S and they’re good. Next and John Lewis have nice ones too.

I wasn’t fussed for DFS and Sofology when looking but they are popular.

There’s Loaf but it’s expensive and I’ve heard mixed reviews.

I’d say sofas are one of the items you really should try in real life before buying.

Ikea Ektorp if you want loose washable covers.

Ooh I never thought of IKEA, just looked at the website, they’re so cheap! Super job!
