Our lounge overlooks woods. We have large grey sofa but cushions that are green, cream, blue and grey. Grey carpet and grey woollen throws. Blankets are made out recycled materials (wool feel and green).
We have all reclaimed furniture or free furnished painted a pale green. We have custom made shelves coming from repurposed oak and floor to ceiling in alcove.
We are looking for windowsill items for the TV stand (about 6 small shelves) and the alcove that are of a nature theme.
we have lights - one that looks like pale wood but when you turn it on it looks like tree tops and birds, we have a mushroom lights from Dunelm and an ammonite light from Dunelm and then a salt lamp with looks like a dragons egg.
I have a large piece of amethyst crystal on the window still.
Although we have ‘fake’ things I would like some nature fossils, crystals and stuff but if possible ethically sourced and real. The amethyst crystal is real for example and was a present 30 years ago.
There are large fossil on eBay but they are like ammonites 13 cm wide and about £50. They look real but I’m not 100% certain they are.
We have a fossil sea urchin that we found and the kids have their various finds and we have some local glass from around us.
Any ideas? We don’t want to negatively affect the environment either. I’m thinking two large Christmas cactus on the window ledge but it is a big one!
