Just picked this up in a charity shop as thought I could use it for something but I can’t but the question is, what is it?

it’s ceramic and has Primeware on the bottom. Quite heavy

any ideas?

Is it one of those graveside flower holders?

Oh god, is it? Now I can’t stop seeing it next to a grave. The hole is about 4 inches. Don’t think it’s utensils as hole isn’t big enough and looks a big ugly as a vase.
