Wall lamp above bed and wall art

In each bedroom in our house above the bed is a wall lamp with a short pull cord. We like the practicality of just being able to switch off one light from the bed, rather than each having a bedside lamp.

We could do with some bedside tables and to put something on the wall behind the bed. Currently thinking of keeping the wall light, adding bedside tables and putting some large wall art above each bedside table. I would rather not have bedside lamps as well. I want to check what this might look like before I start spending money.

Does anyone have this arrangement or can find any online images like this or with understanding of decor who can explain why this might it might not work?

Thank you for taking the time to do that, what I am thinking of is similar but there is just one wall lamp above the bed and then I was thinking one picture in either side of the bed but above each bedside table. I just have zero vision of what it would be like!
