Look at my kitchen cupboards

I live in a HA house. Can’t afford to change the kitchen. These are my cupboard doors - they are greige 😩 what colour walls would you suggest? Is it worth attempting to paint the doors?

I think they are fine. Maybe paint the walls a nice pale green and I suspect the cabinets will look less grey. They look in pretty good condition?

I would not paint the doors but I would probably put new handles on, they can make a big difference. Pretty much any wall colour would work with such a neutral door so pick something you love, it’s only paint, if you change your mind you can paint over it.

If you can afford to change the handles and paint then it would be perfect. Don’t paint them in my opinion it always looks shite unless a professional sprays them.

The pp beat me to it! A nice green on the walls - like the one attached. But maybe only 2 or 3 walls, and some nice green plants. Like spider plants, or ivy.

Oh, I quite like that greige. The handles are ok too. If you want the room to feel warmer and cosier, maybe a terracotta

If it’s a sunny but small room then blue could work to make it feel more spacious and airy

🤣 true! And it was green before I repainted it. It’s a kitchen diner and quite light already.
It needs painting and this time I want to pull it together more without being matchy matchy.
Definitely not blue. Wall colours either yellow, green or pink. Kitchen opens out on to garden and want to bring the garden inside of that makes sense

Have you tried the Dulux app.? You can paint your walls virtually before committing to buying paint.

I like big, bold and bright and bloody love prints so when I get round to doing mine which is a kitchen diner open plan, the dining bit will have this paper and the kitchen will be a co-ordinating green.

I like quirky and I like clashing/ mismatched but I can’t have loud. It’s not good for my brain 🙈
