Which furniture colour with stiffkey blue

We recently painted our bedroom in F&B stiffkey blue which looks amazing but our wooden bedroom furniture no longer looks right so I want to repaint it, just not sure what colour. Black? Yellow? The house is old Victorian and our style is colourful bohemian.

Sounds great @AltDel - colourful bohemian here too!

We painted the hallway of our last house (actually a 400 year old mill, converted to a cottage in Victorian times) in Inchyra Blue and had black storage cupboards/bookcase etc as well as a light blue oriental console table.

We did have the dreaded feature wallpaper on one wall (William Morris Strawberry Thief indigo colourway) which compensated for the lack of pattern in the form of curtains - there was a small window which we didn't bother hanging a curtain at. The whole space looked lovely imo - although I'm also a fan of yellow, so can see that being a good choice too!

What fabrics do you have in the space? Rug/carpet etc?

I painted my bedroom in a similar colour (Fenchic Hornblower) and painted all the wooden furniture the same colour. Looks great, very harmonious. If you want more colour, you could use the fabric elements in the room.

I use a couple of tools to help me with this abode colour wheel to pick out colours that work. Canva to take photos where the colours seem to work to identify their Pantone number.
I am a colourful person and like blue with yellow, but from my memory Stiffkey blue is quite specific and you need to be careful with the yellow tone.

Thanks so much everyone! The room has stained dark original wooden floors, the rugs are old oriental ones (earthy red tones) inherited from MIL when she moved into a newbuild but I might swap them. No curtains yet, just wooden blinds (our bedroom is the last room in the house to get a makeover!).
